Our approach to weddings is simply to capture the moments as they unfold throughout the day while carving out time for directed portraits in the best light and location possible as time allow. Often times weddings are photographed in a style that portrays them as something they're not. We want your wedding to look and feel like you remembered it in essence. Capturing the beauty of moments, details, the warmth and intimacy that can be found even in a business of the day is our ultimate goal. Most of the day we're very "hands off" but when it's time for portraits we step in with intention to make them as comfortable and streamlined as possible.

Scott and Co. is based in Ventura, CA. We currently take a limited number of destination weddings on a first come, first served basis. Travel fees are based on location and duration of travel/event. There are currently no travel fees for Southern and Central California weddings (territory includes San Diego, Paso Robles, Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite Valley, Palm Springs, and of course nearby cities like Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica, Ojai, and Los Angeles).

Weddings: We understand the tension of wanting your wedding photographs to be the very best and also to see them ASAP. Our turnaround time for wedding galleries is 6-8 weeks. As a boutique studio that also uses traditional film our process may be a bit longer than others, but the results are always worth the wait.

Portraits: Your family photographs are typically delivered in a 2-3 week timeframe. Occasionally during busy seasons our film lab times will be longer, but we will always be in communication.
*if you need images for cards, invitations, or gifts please notify the studio at least 7 days before your session.

From proof prints, linen and leather albums to fine art prints on archival paper we take great pride in providing our clients with quality, beautiful, handcrafted goods. We are believers in printed goods and encourage you to invest in these forever heirlooms that you'll cherish for years to come.

Your wedding day is a “one time” event in which much thought, work, intention, emotion, and love goes into.
